[EDIT] They're giving me a loan via an unexpected credit opportunity. So maybe my hostility was premature. I really didn't give them the typical 3-day cracking period.
Regardless, I still do want to leave home very, very soon -- because of episodes like this, that seem to be happening every fucking week. So what I said about needing someplace new to take up rent stands.
